Kids in Mind Charity is pleased to announce a new partnership with Rotary GB&I, aimed at promoting mental health awareness and supporting children's wellbeing across the UK and Ireland. This collaboration will focus on initiatives that engage communities and encourage open conversations around mental health issues affecting young people.
By leveraging Rotary's extensive network and resources, Kids in Mind Charity will expand its reach and enhance its programmes designed to provide essential support and resources for children who have been victims of domestic abuse. The partnership aims to deliver theraputic sessions within women’s refuges in the UK and also equip parents and children with practical tools to navigate mental health challenges.
Together, Kids in Mind Charity and Rotary GB&I will work towards creating a positive impact in local communities, fostering environments where children's mental health is prioritised and supported. The partnership represents a commitment to building a brighter future for children and ensuring that mental health resources are accessible to all.
Kids in Mind will be supporting the following Rotary ideals

-- Rotary GB&I Children's Fun Day --
-- Rotary GB&I Children's Fun Day --
Since the first Rotary Children’s Fun Day Out, the event has turned into the biggest single outing for disadvantaged children in the UK. With more than 30,000 children participating each year
The day is only truly possible as it is run nationally in conjunction with the unwavering pioneers, Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI).
To make the Rotary Children’s Fun Day the success that it is, more than 10,000 Rotarians volunteer on the day at over 100 venues. Whether they live with critical health issues, in refuge or with a disability, disadvantaged children across the country are taken on a fun day out (whatever the weather!).
Children have the opportunity to visit lots of different attractions and events, with some of the biggest outings taking place at
Chessington World of Adventures , Wicksteed Park, Aldershot Army Rugby Ground and Longleat Safari Park
Whatever the numbers of children on the day, they certainly have the most wonderful valuable and positive experiences. The experiences across the UK were extremely varied and included trips to the beach, zoos, theme parks, and even sailing.
