Founders

Successful businessman and philanthropist Philip Gower has spent most of his life personally getting involved in and financially supporting many charities. In particular, his passion is helping children who have suffered serious abuse and supporting initiatives that would turn their lives around.

A charity he is actively involved in provides a service of well-being support to children suffering mental health issues. This initiative was remarkably successful helping children through their darker times.

His work with the NSPCC, Barnardos, KidsOut, and others, highlighted a group of ‘forgotten children’ that without intervention, went on to statistically have the highest rate of suicide, runaways and exclusions from school, with 74% turning to drugs and crime by the age of 18.

In 2023 Philip founded together with Julian Margolin and Gordon Moulds the Charity Kids in Mind. Supported by Simon Mann and the Paskin Children’s Trust, the Lemford Foundation, and Tina Fotherby, Greville Waterman, Chris Osborne, Andrea Margolin and Chris Lavender
