The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is one of the UK’s most iconic hiking challenges, taking participants across three of the highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales: Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m).
Usually completed in this order, the challenge involves covering around 24 miles (38 km) and climbing over 1,500 metres in elevation — all within 12 hours.
These three peaks form part of the Pennine range and surround the head of the River Ribble valley in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering breathtaking views and a truly memorable challenge.
